I would think it was the same as in Corpus Christi, but I could be wrong. Each city has it's own set of rules, as Portland and Rockport allow boas and pythons and Corpus does not. Check with TP&W AND city. Venomous is NOT allowed in city limits of Corpus. Sorry, that's all I know. ChrisH? ,McMartin? anyone?

it may depend on who you know. i know that the law in kingsville is you can not own venemous, but i know of a individual that has many rattlesnake, that most of the town knows about, and nobody says anything. call the city offices anonomously and ask.
