Well known reptile photographer, Michael Kern, took this photo of my Northwest and Regal ringneck snakes. His site for photos is www.thegardensofeden.org.

Very nice photo, I wonder will the Northwest ringneck and the Regal ringneck live peacefully together in the same tank ? What do you think ? Can you inter-breed them to create new sub-species ?

They come from two very different climates much less may eat or kill one another.

....its a lousy jpg...cuz they dont naturally occur together(but mebbe in SE Cali/Nv...???)...so theres the unnecessary risk of cross-contamination. Im not surprised at the lack of ophiophagus behavior... as I dont observe them to be cannibals...O'Connors observation being the lone exception....

Hello HerperHelmz

You got a very beautiful NW ringneck there. Do you have any young NW ringneck ( 5'' - 7'' ) available, please let me know if you do because I am looking for one.

Nope.... And from what I have heard from my research partner, the babies are quite the challenge....
