Taiwan females together?

jonasgn Nov 12, 2005 02:45 PM

Hello i would like to know if it`s better to seperate my two taiwan beauty snake females, when i`m introducing the male for breeding. Or will the male just breed both of them if i keep them together?

Thanks a lot
Jonas

I keep my ratsnake females separate during breeding. With some species I actually use two males together to encourage combat and the enhanced breeding response that encourages. But I figure if I use one female at a time I'm more likely to know whether all the females have actually been bred. With two females in the same cage I might get confused about which one had been bred.

Regards
John
