Anyone have a percentage the intial responses you receive for a KS ad that results in a sale?

....also any idea of a percentage of sales from a "check is in the mail" from a KS ad?

...I think I make sales to about a third of the people who reply to my ads. I do get a few people who tell me the check is in the mail and it never arrives and I never hear from then again. I suppose if they do this to enough people they eventually find someone who is trusting and sends them the snake before the check arrives. My favorites are the people who send lots of emails and ask lots of questions (questions that are already answered in my rather long wordy ads) and then do not buy. I also get the "African Scam" ads which are supposedly from someone in Africa who wants to buy many animals and will send a larger than the amount of the sale bank check and have their agent stop by my house and pick up the snakes and the extra money. I sure like wholesaling!!!

I'd have to agree with Jeff, about a third and I've only had a few "check in mail" that never comes.

Those are pretty good odds IMO, better than I would have guessed. Probably helps that you both have NICE brb's.
