Bobbing Head

Hardcorp Nov 12, 2005 08:31 PM

When my male RT gets around my female RT he bobs his head up and down. Is he trying to win her over or is a sign of aggression?

Assuming RT = Russian Tortoise

Then yes, a male will bob his head up and down at a female.
Also bite, ram and chase.

Look the female over every once in awhile. Sometimes the male gets too worked up and will injure the female. If that happens you should seperate them for awhile.

Well if you have a 1.1 of RT's then even if they mate the chances are like real low that you will get eggs that are fertal. People say its impossible. People get like 1 or 2 males for like 6-8 females. Im not saying its impossible but dont get to over happy. GOod luck though.
