MY Blue tegu has been getting into the habbit of eating alot one day and then sleeping the whole next day in his heated hide-burrow. Is this ok, is this just a winter thing or is this a problem that i should deal with, if so what could be the problem, and what could i do for it. Thanks, kevin

It is not good for them to stay cool too long after they eat or the food begins to rot in their bellies. Every other day is still fine. I have some of my blues I have not seen in over a week while others are out daily looking to bask and eat.
