before evryone get pissed that i just got my argus about 1.5 months ago and im seeing how much he worth(im not getting rid of him) i would just like to know.

he is about 38inches long
1 10 inche scar down is back (healed)
2 on his back legs(healed)
(scars not by me owner before me kept him in a dog cage)

thanks and if not to much trouble does anyone know how to get a argus to calm down while holding,
does anyone have like a plan

sure, don't buy an Argus. it is NOT that kind of monitor.

as for worth, an Argus baby from a reputable breeder, healthy, without scars and poor history, is worth $100-$200. a scarred animal from a private keeper with little experience is worth whatever you can possibly get for it, which will probably be very little.

if you want a "holding" monitor, you have the wrong animal. your local reptile store MAY take him off your hands for free, maybe.
