Great snake, One of my two females escapees I got from Thomas (lesson learned the hard way!) Thomas is only a few miles from me, maybe one day I can go see all of his animals. Hey, have you ever had a snake that sheds and seems to be missing random scales? Sugarpie does everytime she sheds, it is only one or two scales. It is a really weird situation, she is fine otherwise.

I've never noticed mine losing scales, i'd like to see a close up pic if that's possible.

Snakes aren't supposed to lose scales. The same number of scales that a snake is born with will be same number when they are adults or roughly. Naturally though, not including prey bites or something. Fungus maybe? bad sheds? Pictures would help.

my camera is not that great, I will try to get a close up pic. It is only one or two scales at most. It looks more like if she had scraped a scale on a screen top. If I was not so anal with inspecting my snakes I probably would not have even noticed it. I really don't think it is a big deal, just thought it was strange.
