Soon to be Owner...question about NY reptile show

NextRev37 Nov 13, 2005 11:03 PM

I'm going to be attending the NY reptile show in hopes of finding a baby rhino iguana. I've seen a guy there in the past who claims that his rhinos have multiple horns or something. I was just wondering if anyone knows of this guy who sells at the show. I'm stuck between waiting for the show and getting one from a reputable breeder online.

My opinion is to purchase from a well known breeder. I know that Robert Ehrig and Ron St.Pierre are currently selling Rhino babies. Having purchased from Robert Ehrig before I can tell you that you will NOT be disappointed if you buy from him! Ron St.Pierre is actually listed on this site's classified section.

Good luck!

Sorry! I meant to say that this is a picture of a Cuban I got from Robert Ehrig.

I am sure you are talking about John Aristie and his multihorned iguanas. He is a reputable breeder and is an expert with rhinos, he is honest and isn't in it for the money, he has a job. Hey! if you come to California I'll sell you some more multihorns(Plug).KB

Ugh, this stoopid thing. I just typed a huge message about the fact that the guy in question is a guy who sells John Aristei's rhinos. He IS a reputable breeder but is out of the country a lot so has this other guy sell them for him. I dont know the name of the guy but know what he looks like. He will be the only guy at the show selling several rhinos (assuming there are some available right now, which there should be). Stay away from the guys that have a whole bunch of different imported animals with one or two rhinos on the table. They are NOT breeders. I will be at the show near the door with the green iguana adoption. Stop by and say hi.
