Large Crickets?

WanderingLost Nov 14, 2005 09:55 AM

I was just wondering when it was appropriate to start your geckos on large crickets, or if always feeding small is the way to go. Several of my geckos i feel could eat larger crickets than the ones I feed them, but unfortunately the only supplier of crickets that i have around is a petco. You either get Monster sized crickets, or tiny ones. So anyway, would it be ok to try out the bigger crickets, or just keep on with the small ones? Thanks.

i feed all of my cresteds that are over 15 grams med.-larger sized crickets.
although it is not advised, i've seen some 6-7 gram cresteds take on almost adult crickets.
a typical guideline is nothing larger/longer than the space between the geckos eyes.
