The egg has been sweating and slowly collapsing since 8:00 this morning...do I need to help out? How long does this take? Should I take valium, stop drinking coffee? Any insights would be helpful!!!

Hey,

DO NOT HELP THE CHAMELEONS OUT OF THE EGGS!!!! They need to get out themselves. If they are not strong enough to get out on their own, they are not strong enough to survive anyway. Also, they might sit there for a while and not move when they are half out of the egg. They are still absorbing the yolk, and without it, they won't survive. So don't help them out. Wait for them to get completely out of the eggs, and then place them into their new enclosures.
