Hi all,

I am not new to owning an Iguana, but it has been a while. I adopted a older iguana from a rescue a couple of months back and now that its warm/hot outside I let him live outside. He is in a 12'X 10' cage with a plastic webbed roof (does not keep the elements out). Well a couple of days ago, 3 of his nubs (dont know what they are called, but they are behind his eyes and the back of the neck/shoulder blades area, look like small hershey kisses) turned black... like they are dead. Well today I went out to see him, and it looks like they fell off and there is now a dried scab where the nubs used to be. What kind of medication or treatment can I do to help him. I have not taken him to a vet yet.
