Thats pretty cool man, never saw corns climbing trees and being semi-arboreal and stuff, thats kind of cool!

First of all thank you. Yes it was pretty interesting to watch, i placed him on the ground near the trees and he started climbing up them. On both trees actually, it was the best on the palm tree though, how awesome it was seeing him go up it.

Cool pics, thanks for sharing. Living up here in NY, it amazes me at the thought of seeing snakes in the wild. I think the only chance of seeing one would be a common garter. In the 40 years i've been alive I have yet to see one.

Yes i remember when i lived in Mass and mostly found eastern ribbons and common garters. But on occasion i did find some Dekay's, N. Black racers, N. Water snake, smooth green snake, and was lucky to find a nesting ground of copperheads in a state forest near my house. But now i live in florida and i find many more snakes daily than i do up there. No matter where ever you are just enjoy the snakes you have.

Nice find! Here's a pic of the only corn I've ever found in the wild. I was camping near Daytona Beach, we had just found our first gopher tortoise (for Clevelanders, this was pretty exciting). Getting back into the car, we heard a squeaking sound. Upon investigating, this snake was constricting a rat that seemed too impossibly large to swallow. After taking some photos we left the snake so it could eat its dinner.

That must have been a cool find, seeing it kill a rat. Nice find yourself and thanks.
