I have three Red Eared Sliders. I got them when they were babies.. they've always been great eaters and ALWAYS very active and nutty. Lately, however, the biggest of the three (they're all the same age but they're all different sizes now) has been acting SOOO lathargic (sp?). Like they would always just sort of hang in the water at night sleeping, but now the big one does that during the day too! And he just isn't nearly as active and always slow. I'm so worried. What can I do???

What are your water and basking area temps? Do they ever stay outside or are they always inside? Is he still eating?

They're all still eating. They are always indoors. I'm not sure on the temp.. I had a water heater in there for a while, but a few months ago I took it out because the ambient temp in our house is always like 72ish.. They have a 60 watt heat bulb about 8 to 10 inches from their dock, and a UVB florescent light.

Thanks!

Get a thermometer and check the water. It most likely is okay if your house temp is above 70 degrees. Also check your basking temp.
