911-New baby - Need advice

redoaksblues Nov 14, 2005 07:15 PM

One new Nosey Be Panther baby has emerged and is now in his new nursery...question....do I leave the heat light (45 watt) and Reptisun on tonight.., do I turn them off now? or just leave them on for a bit till he/she warms up and then turn off...

Please advise!

No lights or heat at night unless your room is below 60. If you absolutely need to heat the cage at night (not very likely if its in your house) you will need an emitter that does not produce ANY visible light. He'll be fine as long as he can warm up with basking every day to metabolize his food well.
