tail problems

My lizard isnt an anole but part of her tail recently turned purple and fell right off! More of it is doing the same thing now. Ive taken her to the vet who didnt know what the problem was. Any suggestions as to what is causing it or what I can do about it? Any help would be great.

hmmmm.. purple and fell off.. well i dont know what kind of lizard it is.. but chameleons get fungus really bad....im sure other lizards could or it could have hurt its tail nasty bruise or it was damged and blood wasnt getting to it so it fell off...any chance a spider? vet may or may not beable to help...but good luck

i way have a sulution. you know how the tail falls off when someone or something grabs it tail. maybe that will help if you pull on its tail a little.
