I bought these two snakes as 1.1 Philothamnus macrops but the look so different so my question is.... Are they even the same species if not, what are they?

They look like the same species to me just different color fazes so if you are going to breed you should get some good morphs

I am not familiar with the genus, but there is one possibility to consider...There may be sexual dimorphism. I know this is true in some genera, such as Dispholidus.
