Is it safe to assume if one dents and molds that the other egg will do the same being that they came from the same mother?

I don't have any experience with breeding leopard geckos, but just from my own breeding experiences I would say know. One could very well be a bad egg where the others might be fine.

I had a pair of crested eggs, both of which I thought were infertile. One of them molden a lot, so I took it out. The other one had a tiny amount of mold on it, which I scraped off, just to see what would happen. The other egg hasn't hatched yet, but it hasn't rotted either, and its been a month.

It is not uncommon for 1 of the 2 eggs in a clutch to be infertile. The last 2 clutches my female laid, each had 1 infertile egg.
Hey all the has offered some input THANK YOU very much for your input. Oh while I'm at it whats the best way to candle the eggs
Well the egg had major mold on it and a big dent.. Thats the only reson I assumed it was dead. from my reading up on this that combo is a major tell tell sign.. Am I wrong? If so shoot me with S#*t and kill me for stinking.
