Clumps in the Oxbow food-DUH

PHRatz Nov 15, 2005 10:37 AM

I found the answer to the problem! Years ago my DH bought for me a package that contained two tiny little wire whips or as I look I see some people call them whisks. He bought them so that I could use them to stir my chocolate milk, they do work better than a spoon.
I suspect these little things are really made for mixing alcoholic drinks but I don't know. lol
They're exactly like a wire whip or whisk you'd find in the kitchen gadget aisle of any store but they're miniature sized.
Here's a photo of a regular sized one

This morning I used one to whip Chip's Critical Care formula into the Ensure, it's NOT clumped. This worked! I can't believe it. Why didn't I think of this before? DUH

wisks are usually used for baking or preparing some sort of food, helps keep sifted flour from clumping and breaks clumped flour well too(as well as other powdery dry ingredients), never heard of anyone using them fro alcoholic drinks but who knows.

I never have heard of anyone using them for drinks either but these are so tiny I just wondered, but actually have no clue. I've never seen any as tiny as these are....but come to think of it my DH did buy them at a store (out of business now) that sold a lot of commercial restaurant supplies. Maybe chefs use these tiny little wisks?

I miss that store they sold a lot of stainless steel pots & pans along with oddball things like stainless steel pizza pans that were heavy duty, not like those I find in stores now. I just hope the ones I have last forever lol.

Anyway I am really happy that I found a way to get this food into Chip. He really made my day today.. & other pet lovers should understand this lol he produced a perfectly normal looking poop! WTG Chip!!!
