Hi Vic,
Thanks for you response to my HELP identify a tortoise. I've tried to post a pic here but can't seem to figure it out.
I hae taken several pics and could e-mail them to you, or post them here with some help. We are still not sure what it is. Thanks

Dear mejohn, feel free to E-mail a photo or two...or try to get some help from a computer whiz and post them here. You want to tap into that great resevoir of experience that reads these. Also, if you can give a detailed description you may succeed. Include size, color, plastron pattern, dorsal pattern etc. Better yet, get a copy of Andy Highfield's Encyclopedia of Keeping and Breeding Tortoises and Freshwater turtles or other good reference. It will be fun to identify it if you can post a photo, so really do try! Maybe somebody who reads this can/will advise you how to go about it, I am not very digital yet... Good luck, Vic
