Decorating suggestions

LeoEyes Jul 22, 2003 05:22 PM

Hello,

I thinking about making some sort of rock wall for my leo's cages. I think it will look really cool and also curve a bit of there "I want to climb" needs. I have all my leos in vision tanks, so it will need to be able to attach to them. I plan on making some ledges and "rocky" areas on the background.

Any suggestions, ideas or thoughts on materials, making them, ect are appriciated. Thank you.

Please let me know when you find out on how to attach them to the Vision cages. I want to put up a hammock but couldn't figure out how besides drilling into the cages. Thanks!

well, you could buy pieces of slate or tiles and superglue them together to make different levels in their tanks, but i don't recommend making the ledges too high in case they fall off...don't go higher than 5 inches i would say. also, different accessories will go a long way in making the tank look nicer. a piece of driftwood (properly secured) would be a nice addition if there is room to spare, and placing some plastic aquarium plants behind the hides will prevent the tank from looking too barren.
