True Leticia boas are true redtails, BCC. They may similar to Colombian bci and could do well with the same care, but I would think they would thrive following care for bcc.

There are many sites out there with valuable information..

Here are a few I like:

www.Boaphile.com

take care, Joe

Hi Sean,
I have a pair of Leticia Boas that I got from Ben Siegel in 2002. One is an Anery and the other is a Normal. They look like (at least to me) as Dwarf Peruvian Boas. The Normal female that I have is very stout but only about 5 feet long, where the male Anery (a wild looking creature) is thinner and also about 5’long. I received them both as fresh imports. If you look at the map of this region (I have it posted on my website) you can see that Leticia is a small sliver of Colombia that goes pretty deep into the Peruvian Country. These snakes are on the opposite side of the Andes Mountain range where you would normally find the BCI Boa (Colombians up to CA and Mexican) The Andes are normally considered to be the dividing point (North and South) of the BCI and BCC type Boas.
I have added a couple of pics of my two animals; they were taken kind of quickly so I hope you can see the different features in them compared to the regular BCI Boas
They seem to like it just a bit warmer then the Regular Colombians but due well under mostly the same conditions.
Please feel free to take a look at my website for more info on them.
Please be careful. Since the Leticia Boas took off so well in 2002 there have been many “Dealers” selling regular imports as Leticia Boas just to try and boost up the value of their imported Boas. They are very distinct and should look dramatically different from you regular Colombian Boas
Hope this helps
