Common snapper hatchlings in S. California?

Hi All,

Im new to the forums. Would anyone happen to know where I can get a common snapper hatchling locally here in southern CA? Any info would be appreciated.

I think all species of snappers are illegal in CA. Maybe you can get permits though.

It is illegal to posses a snapping turtle is CA..last I knew. They have been introduced in various places in the state, and outdo native species.
