2 1/2 year old female albino boa...still too small to breed?

boastud Nov 16, 2005 12:59 PM

I have a 2 1/2 year old female albino boa that is 6'2 and about 12lbs. She will eat absolutely anything that you put infront of her. Just wanted somd opinions on if she would go this year, or if i should be safe and wait till 06/07 season.

I've always been told four years is a good number, or three at the earliest.

I agree, wait till she is atleast 3 years of age before trying to breed her. You may end up getting a litter at a younger age, but why risk her health to save yourself 6-12 months of time.
