Troy didn't post any pictures of the snakes we caught in Aug. He didn't like the digital images I took with my small Canon Powershot A85. Here they are anyway. These were the first kingsnakes I have found or seen on rock cuts.

#2 & 3 were caught on the same night, #1 & 4 caught the next night.
#3 First pass south of town Alpine, before dropping Dad off and after talking to Neal for a second, spotted on the south cut, facing west.
#2 was caught west of Alpine after I dropped Dad off to walk the south cut
#4 was caught on the Observatory cut, first pass before dropping Dad off there. I then headed down to hunt closer to Ft. Davis, came back up to pick up Dad just before midnight, made one more pass and caught #1

Wow number is KILLER. The others are nice but that is the cream of the group. Very nice.
