If you have read up enough and studied them a lot then yes. they are the smallest of the argentines, and their diet is easier than reds.

ofcourse. i always read about any animal i would consider buying and any at all just for my own knowledge. im having trouble finding a breeder so i'll just have to see if anybody has at the repticon show coming up in december. i read somewhere that their breeding season is around august? so that means i should find babies right? i spoke to one of my friends that works at a reptile shop and he said he hasn't seen one in like two years and if anything i would have to wait until april! can anybody help me out? =p thanks

I have never had problems raising Reds. They eat everything. Blues can be a bit pickier. If you don't want a big lizard, go blue. With Reds you may or may not get a big one. Either way, finding babies now will be hard as breeding season ended months ago. You may find late bloomers yet though. The other issue is shipping. Depending where you are, it may be too cold to ship to you. I do not ship live animals in temps under 40F. Good luck
