Cycling Females

CJBianco Nov 16, 2005 03:10 PM

My friend told me that I should try cycling my females if I want them to breed. I really want my females to breed, but I'm a little nervous about cycling them. What if they get caught in the spokes?

Ball pythons like to be in tight spots (they feel more secure) you should have no problems with the spokes - please be sure that you remove your baseball cards from ths spokes prior to cycling - they inhibit the snakes ability to "hold on".

I just put mine in the little metal basket attached to my handlebars.

I'm new to ball pythons, so I tried this technique as suggested here and she didnt seem to appreciate very much. Don't worry it was a stationary so she would not have fallen on the cement.

One of those tow behind kid seats, kinda like a sidecar in the back? I did hear that you need to cycle them for awhile so I hope you are in shape.

Whew! I'm glad that's over! I was getting TIRE'd of all the puns. And I needed to SHIFT GEARS before I turned into a CRANK.

And to be honest, I don't even RIMember how this TREAD started. Oh yeah...

"pedaling snakes is illegal..."

You SPOKE up saying that you didn't think I could HANDLE BARtering snakes. I can WHEEL and deal with the best of them. (What are the cops gonna do, put me in the CHAIN gang? Give me a BRAKE!)

Chris

PS -- Stick a FORK in me, I'm done. (And it's all DOWNHILL from there.)
