I saw an add on the classifieds for local specific lepidus. I went to the website www.kcrd.com Well, when you click on the link "our collection" there are a couple photos, one with a lepidus. Next to the photo it says that the lepidus was collected in Big Bend State Park. And they then prove they don't know anything about leps when they say they hope to have babies in the spring. Along with the leps they also boast that they brought back over 75 animals from west texas. I obviously don't post much but I am furious with these people. They are also selling horridus on the classifieds, which are supposedly legal, but how can anyone justify selling horridus just to make a quick buck. Finally, if you go to their website there are some obvious taxonomic mistakes (can't even get the ORDER right). I am embarressed to call myself a herpetoculturist today.

I truley am glad there are people in this hobby that have nothing better to do than critasize other people. Tell me where I'm in the wrong for collection animals in Texas and reselling them, do you think I am the only one that does this? If so open your eyes!

To clarify the Leps were taken off of River road in Big Bend State park which is LEGAL since the road doesn't belong to the park. This was also verified with a game warden. Every animal collected in Texas was done so in a legal fashion.

In the future, if you want to belittle someone, why don't you make sure your facts are stright before you start to run your mouth or in this case keyboard. It will cut down on the chances of making your self look like an ass.
