DavidKendrick Nov 16, 2005 07:09 PM

Not the best pic I know, My camera sucks, But she was purchased as a Blazin Blizzard, and in the posts below, there was some question to wether or not she was a Blazin Blizzard and to clarify, can someone break down what makes a blazin Blizzard? Thanks to all those who reply.

Could you please post a picture of its eyes. The only real visible thing that distinguishes blizzards from blazing blizzards is that the blazing's have red eyes.

DavidKendrick Nov 16, 2005 07:42 PM

Don't have red eyes...I am pretty sure that Prehistoric Pets, Breeder who produces lots of them, why there picture doesn't show the red eyes?? Being that they are albino, they are really sensitive to light, and its hard to capture the red in there eyes.

Check this add out...In fact you should check out all the adds in the classifieds that are offering them for sale...and tell me albino doesn't have anything to do with it.

I'm beginning to think there is no hope for you... just post a picture of its eyes.

DavidKendrick Nov 16, 2005 07:57 PM

Did you even look at the links...You really have me rolling in laughter....LOL...You still are saying(for everyone to see)that The Albino Gene has nothing to do with Blazing Blizzards...How do you explain all the breeders that contradict you..??

Alright i really don't have time to be arguing with you over something you know nothing about. It really seems like you have an ordinary blizzard, and thats what you have until you post a picture of its eyes. Case closed.

DavidKendrick Nov 16, 2005 08:19 PM

Why won't you explain, why everyone that advertises Blazin Blizzards also has albinos het and normals het albino blizzards? And every single add on the classifieds contradicts what you are saying...YET you won't explain how "you know" that the albino gene has nothing to do with it? PLEASE EXPLAIN YOURSELF...

Blazing blizzards are albino blizzards. Because blazing blizzards are albino blizzards they will have "red" eyes. As with normal albinos, the eyes may range from red to a very dark maroon. Since your blizzard does not have the gray cast that would clearly indicate that it is normal blizzard, people are asking you to post a good picture of the eyes. If the veining and pupils are black you have a light, but normal blizzard. If the veining and pupils are a red to dark maroon color, it's a blazing blizzard (albino blizzard).

I have taken over 60 pics, and my camera will not show clearly how red the eyes are, and if I try and use light, he just shuts his eyes.like most of the albinos I have they seem pretty sensitive to light. I will keep trying though. I mainly wanted to prove a point that Albino gene was involved with Blazing Blizzards..Its one thing to say you don't know, but its another to proclaim your right when you are Soooo wrong...Thanks for helping me out.

You shouldn't get all worked up on the internet. The internet is for hanging out and rollin a blunt and sittin, chillin and other non working up around stuff.. not for getting worked up over. Not at all. . Please dont bring drama to the Leopard Gecko Forum, thats what the snake forums are for.

Sincerely

I never said the albino gene wasnt in blazing blizzards! Just use the flash on your camera, unless you have a sony that flashes the flash for 4 seconds before it takes the picture.

Is VMSherp the only breeders that breed Blazing Blizzys? or is Ron Temper the one who does? just curious

Gazz Nov 17, 2005 12:42 PM

Put it this way if a (blazing blizzard) is't a (albino blizzard) then a (Albino patternless) is't a (albino patternless) they are made the same way both are combo morphs.

albino x patternless =
het(albino & patternless)

het(albino & patternless) x het(albino & patternless)=
normal,albino,patternless,albino patternless.
----------------------------------------------------------------
albino x blizzard =
het(albino & blizzard)

het(albino x blizzard) x het(albino & blizzard) =
normal,albino,blizzard,blazing blizzard-(albino blizzard).
