Pastel, Coral, Orangasm, Lipstick and Bubblegum All the same Genetics?

scottbradley Nov 16, 2005 10:54 PM

This might be a controversial topic but I believe they all come from the same Dominate Color genetics. I also believe that some are more colorful because of selective breeding like the Pastel Dream Albino that Jeff Ronne has on his add. I think our Orangasm Sunglows look very similar to the Burkes Lipstick Sunglows and Rich Ihle's BubbleGum Sunglows. This is my opinion and a lot off breeding and tracking will have to be done to prove it but I am very interested in hearing all of your opinions thanks Scott

Sweet!

Didnt know any had been produced yet. I have a triple het from that line and he's killer.

I believe that coral/pastel/etc are all similiar in that they are just different variations of an increase in color (obviously). Decrease in black playing a role in some to achieve that increase. Stripelines also tend to have better color and contrast... same deal.
