Even frozen/thawed mice will bleed from a python bite...

Did you see a cut inside the snake's mouth?? Are you thinking the rodent's claws may have cut the inside of the snake?

I'll bet the blood is from the rodent

It's pretty common to see rosent blood on snake's mouth or their lip while your snake bitten the rodent .

I always seen blood on my male scrub's mouth or lip , I know the blood was from the rodent , not a cut inside his mouth .

If you are still worried about the blood on your snake's mouth . You possible trying to open it's mouth carefully and checking any cuts inside . It's better to do this with a vet.

good luck .

last night i actually had the same thing happen. She tried to eat the mouse folden and let go and the mouse was all slimy and I saw some blood but I was sure it came from the rodent. I dont think you should worry too much it can get pretty nasty when she keeps bitting down and trying to re-situate the rodent so she can easily swallow it!
