Looking for some articles on Elapidae

Chance Nov 17, 2005 01:16 PM

I'm doing a term paper this semester and have chosen the topic of environmental adaptations among the family Elapidae. This paper is only supposed to be 10-15 pages in length, which I could probably do pretty easily without any outside assistance, but of course the professor wants us to use a minimum of 15 references to back up what we say. I've put together a decent number so far, but am lacking some. I'm needing articles that are found in primary literature, such as scientific journals, books, etc. If anyone knows of any good sources to locate such articles, I would be more than appreciative.

try this article...Lying in wait for extinction: ecological correlates of conservation status among Australian elapid snakes, from Conservation Biology v. 16 no2 (Apr. 2002)

Its an article on australian elapid activity comparing threatened and non-threatened species.
If you cannot locate the article for some reason I can help you out.

Also, I cannot imagine if you use the references you have and look up their references you would not be able to come up with well over 15 references on this topic. Good luck Chance.
