Is anyone researching, working with or keeping Narrow-Headed Garter Snakes, Thamnophis rufipunctatus, either with long term captives, academic permits, or field research? They are found in Arizona, New Mexico and Mexico. Arizona has recently placed them on the protected list and they have been protected in New Mexico for some time. This is a favorite species and I would love to acquire more information about them and exchange notes with anyone else interested in this amazing species.
