new fat-tailed gecko?

byk1xs Nov 19, 2005 12:57 PM

I recently bought a leo over the internet. The owner found it hard to take care of properly with 2 toddlers. Tank, heat lamp, fine sand and 1 hide came with "Henry." Frantically I surfed for max information on leos and am now even more confused then when I started out! henry could possibly be a fat-tail, not a leo. Also he's some sort of colour morph. Orange tail with a few dark spots on underside, with a basic body colour of peach. Haven't taken picture yet as i'm trying not to handle him too much and he's almost always in the moist-hide i made from margarine tub and lightly moistened moss. 85f day,78f nights. Until i set up permanant home he'll have to cope with what he's in. Any suggestions on care? Kids where terrorising poor Henry so I got him without much prep.
Thanks in advance, Benny1

A pic would be great, but he still may be a Leo.
