Ok so I now have a zoo med light (5% UVB). I was just wondering what type of light fixtures everyone has. How did you set them up with the tank and where did youfix the light to?

i hung a powersun in a heat dome on a home made stand made specifically for the table the tank sits on. 5.0(5%)is minimum, if you can get a higher intensity for about the same price you probably should.

We bought fluorescent light fixtures at Lowe's Home Improvement store for less than 10 bucks each. Our turtle stand is home made & built like bunk beds. The smaller mud turtle tank is on top, the larger painted tank on the bottom "bunk."
We attached the painted's light fixture to the top bunk, the other light fixture is suspended from the ceiling with hooks & chains like a swag lamp. It all worked out perfectly for us.
