Is it a coincidence that you and the owner of that snake both use all caps and very poor grammar???

Why do I find that wierd and coincidental to.... Boasting about your own snake eh?
if it was the guy who owns the derma ball posting under a different name.
As I seem to recall, pics of the derma have been posted by 'jsreptiles' and 'jkobylka'.
If you already have two Kingsnake names, how much more trouble is it to add a third?? Hmmmm.....

Well he goes under various names for certain reasons and not just to boast his own animals. He does have quite a history if you do some digging and whatever you do don't let him know where you live ot what you keep!
LOL I'm not one to judge but that sounds weird
The micheal myers of the BP world perhaps? Anyone?
and his faithful side kick the Derma....
What is the correct terminology for a snake that doesn't have scales? Is this trait genetic?
OH WOW I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY YOU ACCUSE ME OF BEING JUSTIN. AND IM USING CAPS LOCK AS A JOKE AND THE DERMA REALLY IS VERY NICE.
YAH! I USE CAPS LOCK AS A JOKE ALL THE TIME. ITS FUNNY! TEHEHE.
O0O0O I LOVE CAPS LOCK EVEN THOUGH ITS ANNOYING,MESSES WITH CERTAIN COMPUTERS,WOULD BE AGAINST TOS ON OTHER WEBSITES,HURTS TO READ,DID I MENTION ANNOYING???

Hi guys,
I don't know Justin well, but I recently, (this past week) ran into him at my buddy's Pet Store here in NJ. We started talking,(recognized each other's names from Kingsnake.com) and since he only lived a few minutes away, he invited me to his apartment to check out the Derma.
In my opinion,(the only one I can obviously give) it was a pretty unique animal, and it appeared to be very healthy. Was it the coolest Morph I've yet to see? Well to me nothing beats a nice Pied, but I'd say it was "Top 5". I can honestly say that down the road it would be an animal I'd like to work with.
Lastly, I think the problem with the Derma is not the snake itself, the problem is Justin trying to convince every one it's the coolest snake ever. However, you can't blame the guy for being excited, or for wanting to share his passion with others. It is a unique animal, he is the only person who has one, (as far as we know) and if I were Justin, perhaps I'd shout it to the world myself.
With that said, let's keep in mind we all have something in common; a passion for reptiles. There are enough people out there who look down on us, and who would love to see us lose the privelage of keeping our animals. So let's all agree to disagree in regard to the Derma, but let's all stick together. I'm sure if the folks on these forums were able to meet in person and discuss their differences, all would walk away as friends!
Sincerely,
Gary Schiavino
PS I've been working with herps forever, (I'm old) but mostly with chondros which is why most of you won't recognize my name. I promise though, I exist, and I'm not Justin

I deffinately agree with you gary and really who in there right mind would sign on as a different name to try and convince the world that the derma is amazing i mean there is no point. I saw the derma and im going back to llook at some other snakes today but really lets all just stop fighting.

Yes, people do look at us differently because many do not love snakes as much as we do. Let me repeat.......LOVE snakes. This Derma is against everything I believe in. You can nitpick as much as you want about it eating, shedding, or comparing it to other morphs, but the end result is this........it has "limbs" missing!! How sick have we become to allow greed to override our judgement? I can agree that it looks sort of cool, but that's where it should be left.......no breeding. How can we, as resposible breeders, love and care about animals to purposely bring more into the world? The day I saw one person say they wanted one was the day I lost some pride in my fellow reptile fanatics.
It really is doing fine or even better than fine. It moves like any normal ball python and its growing quiker than most ball pythons i mean its 6 months old and 700 grams!!!
Even if the fact that its scalless would affect it in the wild doesnt really matter because its doing fine in captivity!
How do I know he's not force feeding? With less protection, I would think that guy is EXTREMELY prone to infections from scratches, bites, etc.
I saw him get fed and he ate the small rat with ease!!!
