I ignore most of the posts on feeding because 'Apep' has never had an issue with eating (at least since we adopted him), till now. We give him an adult rat once a week and he gobbles it down as quickly as he can. Normally the day before we feed him he begins 'hunting' around the cage and ends the hunt after eating and then lounges for the next week. The last couple of weeks though he has eaten just as quickly but keeps cruising around as if looking for more. He has put on some weight but he is still growing (not sure his age, we are thinking around four years at most and is about 3 1/2 feet long). Question is, does anyone feed out more than an adult rat in each feeding? I am not looking to power feed him, but I also don't want him going hungry.

. If he's only three and a half feet, he's still growing. An extra now and then won't hurt. Two at a time might last him a little longer also.
