Your Advice and Knowledge is needed

I have a chance to get a ghost Honduran at a price no one would believe. The snake is from Guy Clark’s line but he is not the breeder. The only problem is that this female has a small kink at the very end of its tail. Is this genetic? Should I get the snake? Will the babies of this snake have kinks? The snake is truly beautiful and I have held it already. Super light. I have always wanted to start a ghost project I just want to do it right, with no future problems. The snake does eat on its own on f/t pinkies. The only reason I am getting this dirt cheep price is I have known the breeder for 15 years.
All your opinions are welcome and thank you.

Kinks in snakes are typically due to too high of an incubation temperature. Depending on the severity of the kink it could have an effect on future breeding, especially if it is a male. If the kink is truly small and towards the very end of the tail (not near the vent) and the snake is female, then it might be worth the risk.

Good luck...

I had a male with a kink in his tail, the guy who I purchased it from wasn't sure if it was from a bad shed or what. It didn't pass on to any of the babies or anything, but it caught shedding every once in a while.

The kink is at the very end of the tail.
At the tip end of the tail and it is a female.
would this be a problem in breeding? The snake is also
abberant. It might just be worth buying it.
Any one else had breeders with kinks and how did the offspring turn out? This little female is an 05, so no breeding for a while.
Thanks
Jon

If it's exactly as your explaining, it is/was probably just an incubation problem. At the very end of the tail it is highly unlikely to cause a problem in breeding. The offspring from my male with a kink at the end of the tail seem flawless. Post a picture if you can.
