our new labyrinth

doesnt_matta Nov 21, 2005 07:15 AM

here are some pics of our new "labyrinth" ball. her overall health seems good. all scales are where they should be and no belly burns, etc. she got here saturday and immediately pounded 2 large hopper rats and has entered quarrantine. the one thing i was wondering about with her is whether or not she had a white belly. got her out of the crate and her belly is completely white. to top it all off, her head is much more faded than what i originally anticipated from the pictures we were sent. with the freaky flame/blobs, the 95% consistent pattern on her sides, her lighter coloring and her long tail stripe i'm really pleased with her overall look.

anyway-thanks for checking her out!!

tail stripe

flame/blobs

faded head

Gotta love those normal females!

I have posted this pic before, but like the way they look, hoping to prove them out this year, and they are Het Green Ghosts too.

hmmm...those look really different compared to the labyrinth i got. what caught my eye with her was the consistent pattern and the white belly. i'm not asking if she's a morph or anything, but what i'm planning is to cross her with my male pastel and hopefully get some pastels with the same type of patterning she has. i guess i'll just have to wait and see.

Wouldn't you have to get a pastel with the same "labyrinth" looking pattern to get the "labyrinth" looking babies? I think thats how you would have to do it. A normal pattern plus that pattern will only get you some normal patterns, some normals, some "labyrinth" normals/pastel. Still kind of nice however.

Thats a nice normal, but it is not a Labyrinth.
