what does the band of white around the neck mean? One of my juvis has it. Anyone have pictures of adult that had a collar? or a guess as to what it will turn out to be? he is 16 grams and about 5-6 inches long. thanks

I think you will find most have collars?

Especially when young.

I would take it that the one with the white could be younger than the one w/out it. All of the ones I got as babies had white collars, and they all disapeared as they grew older.

At 3 months old the collar is almost gone

Grown up, no collar

So when your little one gets a little older, the collar will color up and blend in with his/her overall body color.

OK, just have to toss one more in for the road...
