I am going to wait till he is a week old and then put him on white piece of paper with a branch. It is hard to catch hin with it split because so far..he has only used it when he holds on to branches...I have taken a few shots but they are blurred...I will keep trying...........
Does the little guy use both parts of the split to grab, or just one and let the other one do it's own thing? Very, very interesting. Keep us updated!
Actually....they are used in tandem.........
Wow. I can't wait for the pictures on this one. You now have me truly excited waiting on this! Call me lame, but this is so cool. Is it eating and moving around fine? No other noticable defects? Amazing.
No defects, but he/she was born 3 days before everyone else and he started out a little smaller. But he is active, healthy, eating drinking.....biting his brother's and sisters. So far, so good. His tail sticks to together and then when he needs branch support or something to hold on to it it separates and curls in tandem around the limb. No you are not silly. I still cannot believe it. I hope everything else is okay about him.
