What kind of camera?

It's not how many snakes you have. It's how happy and healthy you can keep them.

KODAK EASYSHARE Z740 5.0 MEGAPIXEL RUNS FOR ABOUT 300$

AND THE SNAKE IS A MOJAVE

That's a nice shot and particularly nice for a relatively low-cost camera. Someday, I may get one of the high-end digitals to do things that the point-and-shoots won't do.

You said you had been practicing, what did it take to get the shot. I guess it isn't a straight point and shoot. What settings, tripod etc.
Thanks Mike

Great shot - now is that a zoomed in shot or is it cropped? I've decided I hate my new camera and the Kodak was on my list of possibilities - are you finding it to be a good camera?

you may want to put something in there to show the scale. If the press got ahold of that picture the headline would read something like "Giant Killer Python Invades US Woodlands - 60 Chihuahuas Missing Presumed Light Snack!"

Absolutely beautiful picture! Great Camera, but the subject is nice too. Love the water drops on it!
