Any updates to this??

I was reading through Allen Hunter's "Venom 101" PDF. I noticed that he placed a link on the PDF regarding a bite protocol website. I decided to take a look and found the information quite interesting and helpful. However, I noticed that within the bite protocol, it mentioned to apply a sawyer extractor. Right there, it told me that this was outdated material for the most part or simply misinformation. Does anyone happen to know if there is another site that has more up to date bite protocols? Is this protocol OK to use, just pretty much substract the sawyer extractor part? Your thoughts or ideas are much appreciated. Below is a link to the site, and if for some reason it doesn't work...here is the URL: http://www-surgery.ucsd.edu/ent/DAVIDSON/Snake/Crotalus.htm

Thanks,

Chris

Thanks Tim,

I will do a search later and see if I can find that site. I would certainly like to have all of the latest information available.

Thanks,

Chris

Hey Al,

I appreciate the compliment. I really enjoy snakes...there is definitely no doubt there. However, I have a greater passion for crocodilians. The one pictured is Evander...a rescued alligator.
I am far from being an expert croc keeper, but I certainly enjoy learning about them and working with them.

Thanks again!

Chris
P.S. Here are a couple extra shots for everyone's viewing pleasure.
