few nice close-ups of our dragons with our new digital camera (thanks for everyone's advice)

dragonsbynature Jul 22, 2003 10:46 PM

Just got our new camera.. a Nikon Coolpix 2100.. it's not the high end model, but for what we need it works great.. it is pretty easy to use and so far has been extremely accurate with the colors of our dragons. Real happy with it.

Anyway, here are th pix....

This is a picture of Sherbert.. she was produced from our Red x Snow line and has a ton of orange.. she's a very sweet dragon.

Here is an even closer shot of her head.. i absolutely love her head colors..they are really nice I think.

And here is just a picture of one of our red x snow babies that just hatched out a few days ago.. lots of color already..

hope you liked the pics.. i'm very happy with this camera.

Thank you, I checked into the camera you suggested because it took incredible pics of that closeup you showed.. but I dind't want to drop the cash on that accessory kit so for now I went with this one.

Thanks again tho. BTW, I'll need more bulbs soon. hehehe

No they make sure they don't miss a meal I'll have to snag a picture of him while he is sleeping, he shows the most beautiful colors then, I still can't believe you actually put him in a box and sent him away, I would have kept him ) LOL, the ohter one is beautiful too, I just really like him. I will keep you updated with pictures.

lol... well a $250 a week food bill really makes the decision to sell a few here and there a lot easier lol. Really glad to hear you are happy with them... they were a great pair. i'd love to see some pictures of him.

Hopefully the more familiar I get with it the better I will get at taking some pictures. I'm the type of person that really likes pictures.. always have.. and love seeing pictures of a lot of things.

I'll post some more once I get a chance to read the manual!

Really takes nice pics Brandon. Does that Nikkon have a macro mode? How many mega pixels? I know you weren't looking for an expensive camera and didn't really care about how many mega pixels it had. Just wondering what this camera has. Thanks.
