Hi Everyone,
This forum is a little quiet, so I thought I'd post something a little on the stupid side: Did anyone notice the ad for the Asian pipe snake Cylindrophis ruffus? They incorrectly refer to it as a colubrid - it's actually in its own family Cylindrophidae. I am in no position to pick up a lizard eater right now, but it got me thinking about other odd primitive snakes that might fit under the small terrestrial snake category.
I myself keep loxocemus (terrestrial but not so small), and I'm interested in whether anyone has experience with the uropeltids - the Asian shield tailed snakes. Uropeltids tend to be small and eat earthworms.
Cheers,
Billy
