Farm raised Iglets?

I really honestly wish they weren't able to go on like this...

When I first looked at this I thought... "what am I supposed to be looking for?!" I thought the iglets were GRASS!! *sigh* It'll never end...

to think of all those poor little iglets going to pet stores here in the U.S. And most of them going to crappy homes that will kill them.
Even the ones who get good homes; I think they'd probably rather be out in the wild.
Just this afternoon, I let Lizard roam around the house a bit. I followed him into the living room and found him sitting on the back of a chair, staring out the window. From this window it looks like there's a forest right across the street. It's not really a forest, but our view looks like it. He was sitting there, staring so intently, with his nose pressed to the glass. You could just tell he was longing to be out there in the trees. I know Lizard is fond of me in his iggy way, and I know he likes having his food delivered to him on a plate twice a day. I also know that he'd give it up in a second if he could really be free. I wish I could let him live the life he wants; but I can't. Even if I took him to a place where iguanas are native, I don't know if he would know how to live there now. Would he know which foods to eat, and how to get along with other igs? *sigh* So I just try to make him as comfortable as I can, here.

but life in the rain forest is not as easy as it used to be.My igs also stay the whole day staring at the trees outside my balcony.I know they will love to be there. Malaysia still has lots of rain forests and i know i could release them in the local forests.BUT Malays use to chase and kill reptiles to eat.Tame and confident as my igs are they will try to come closer to the first ig hunter if i release them.
About the farm raised igs we should think that at least igs are not in extinction! There is still a possibility to take all of the iglets we saw on that photo and release them in the Amazon Forest!
photos of a new rescue. Nope... Photos of TONS of new rescues that still have not yet arrived. DEEP SIGH!!!!
