New Yellow tail, and a question.

crazycorn Nov 22, 2005 05:20 PM

Here is my new Yellow tail, ended up being a positive male, I still need to get my other verified through probing. Does it look like a yellow head? Looks a good bit different than my other.

I think your high contrast, near black headed male will be very impressive indeed when he "fills out" after hydrating, deparasitizing, and enjoying the easy life of steady food etc. It will be fun to watch his progress under your care, I hope you will post photos. Maybe a before and after in about 6-8 months? Good luck, and take care of your lacerations, who knows what bizarre tropical infections await the cavalier cribo keeper...Vic

That is what I'd consider a yellowhead. I have snakes that came in looking just like that and once acclimated and have had a few sheds their colors do get better and brighter even on the head. Nice score! I definitely would have bought that snake!
