Florida Green Snake???...

TLocke Nov 23, 2005 12:36 PM

I am an experienced pet, exotics, lizard and turtle/tort keeper but relatively new to snakes except my corn that I've had for a few years and my new ball. I saw a "Florida Green Snake" on sale at PetCo and since I won't buy animals from them I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a CB from? Also are these the same that I see called rough-green snakes?

Thanks,
Tracy

It's rare for people to breed green snakes in captivity on purpose. If you ever see CB babies for sale, they are usually from a female that was caught while gravid and laid eggs.

I've seen PetCo sell smooth green snakes and rough green snakes. You could tell which it is by holding it, or even just looking at it.
