Ideal BP enclosure

horned_frog_guy Nov 23, 2005 09:02 PM

What is the ideal adult BP enclosure size in inches not gallons? (ex. L x W x H) From what I have heard a 30L tank is good (36" x 12" which gives you a surface area of 432". I want to get a snake cage from Animal Plastics or Boaphile or something similar. I was looking at the T1 from AP (www.animalplastics.com then click terrestrial cages then click T1). It is 24" x 24" which gives you a SA of 576", which is 33% larger than a 30L tank. Boaphile makes a similar cage called the 122D (www.boaphileplastics.com/122d.html). So what do you think? I would also appreciate other recommendations.
