constipation question

snakeylo Nov 23, 2005 09:23 PM

My chondro has a large bulge at the base of her cloaca and she has not defecated in a couple of weeks. I mist daily but I feel that the humidity may still be too low. I will soak her in warm water tonight to see if that helps any but are there any other tricks I need to try?

If it's only been a couple of weeks I wouldn't worry, these guys can hold it a long time. Putting them in the shower works well or often just helping them get some exercise will do the trick.. You mentioned being unsure of your humidity. Might be an idea to get a hygrometer. Randy
